I am gonna be a Mummy!
Not much to report for this week, we had a baptism on Saturday, a beautoful girl called Augustina who is 16 and amazing. It has been an honor to teach her!
I am going to be a mama! I am going to be training a new misisonary who will arrive tomorrow, I still dont know who she is yet, but I am excited for the opportunity. It´s a lot of pressure though! But I am sure I will learn more form her than she will from me, we are gonna have a great 3 months together I am sure!
One of the elders gave me a It´s a Girl, BLUE balloon and everyone has been really supportive, I cant wait to meet her!
Today our mission divided into two missions, I stayed in the South mission but the majority of the people that I know went to the east mission, so it hurt my heart a little to say goodbye to some of the great friends I have made.
This week it RAINED, so much! The streets have bad drainage so they all just flooded which wasnt cool at all! The humidity is incredible, I just cant handle it, neither can my hair as youll see in some of the photos haha. #MissionLife
Love you all!

Super fast week!
I have no more tiome to write, but things are good!!
We had another dog follow us this week, he is really obedient, he walks between us and no a step ahead! Hes great, I think I am starting to like dogs.... I dont know what is wrong with me! We called him Nefi (Nephi in english) and he is pretty cool. Plus he doesnt get in fights with other dogs so that is a plus!
Next week I will have a new companion which will be my 4th companion in the misison field and I will have to know the area.... I am going to get lost!!
We made friends with our neighbour and she brings us treats haha. We got locked out of our apartment for 4 hours coz we left the keys in side and she let us climb from her patio to ours so that was nice. We have began teaching her too, but she is more interested in hanging out that hearing the gospel. Shes 26, her name is Noelia. She wanted to ake us to capital city to go roller skating today, but we cant leave our area haha. Shes great!
Today I bought a new camera and we went to a Walmart and I found PEANUT BUTTER!! t was pretty cool!!
I am loving the work, I see the blessing the gospel is in the lives of the faithful and it is an honor to be a apart of bringing this joy to the lives of the Argentinian people.
I hope youre all well!!

Hot Chocolate, Flies in the Nose and Moroni The Dog!
This week was one of the craziest weeks of my misión!
We got stood up for a lot of our appointments but we have 3 new investigators so that is really nice!
On wednesday night our apartment bell buzzed at 9:30pm and we went down stairs and opened the door and the whole Senlle family were there, all wrapped in scarves and coats and holding a big pot of hot chocolate and a bag of sponge fingers and these amazing cooking pie things called Alfajores! It was one of the cutest and nicest things that has happened to me on my misión! I love this family! It is just the Little things like that which really make a missionarys day. We were hyper as from the suger and so grateful that we have made an oficial Spoilt The Missionaries Day. When we get back june 10th we are going to take treats to the missionaries in our área. haha
The next day we Heart Attacked the Senlle´s house, it was super fun ahha.
On Friday we had our zone conference, it was the coldest day I have experienced and we were stuck in a huge and cold room, so the misión presidents wife sent the assistants to go and get blankets and we all snuggled under the blankets durring the conference. It was a really bitter sweet conference, because in a month the misión is going to Split into 2 different missionas, so some of the people at the conference we wont see again and wont have President Thurgood and Hermana Thurgood as their misión parents. Because of that they gave us all a Buenos Aires South Misión Pin and the Hermanas got to give President and hug and the Elders got to give Hermana Thurgood a hug. It was kinda weird to hug a guy haha.
The conference gave me the spiritual boost that I needed, I left there spirutually fed and ready to work!
One really funny moment this week was when my companion totally botched a prayer and prayed that we wouldnt have any more flies in our noses.... that was pretty awkward especially when I started laughing hysterically in the middle of the prayer! I couldnt help it!!
The MOST exciting thing of the week.... WE HAVE A DOG! Saturday we were walking from the outskirts of our área to the chapel and this tan labrodor started following us! He followed us for half an hour! We reached the chapel and we obviously shut him out, but when we came out 30mins later he was there waiting for us and followed us the rest of the day. At first it was super cute and funny, we called him Moroni Sergio Lanus, but the problema is that he is HATED in the city by ALL the other dogs, and we have a lot of dogs in our área! All the dogs run up to him and grow at him and want to fight him and he hides between our legs! He waited outside all the lessons for us! We didnt know what to do coz he follows us everywhere so we went to the Bishops house and the bishop played with him and tried to distract him and hold him back and we got about 3 blocks away when turn and see the dog sprinting for us! He ran 3 blocks and continued following us! He imprinted on us! We got kinda lost as to what to do so we called our distrct leaders and they didnt answer, then we called our zone leaders and they didnt answer, so we called the asistants to the president. In hindsite that was a really weird and embrassing thing to do, but we were freaked out and didnt know where to take the dog. Secretely we were kinda hoping theyd let us keep him. But they told us to get on a bus and ditch him. We decided we would do that after we had first taken a photo of him, so we went to our flat to get our cameras, but when we came back down he was gone.
Then yesterday we are walking in a completely different área and something jumps up on me from behind and guess who it is! MORONI! He was so excited to see us and we were secretly excited to see him too. So he followed us to all the lessons and waited outside again. Maybe he will find us today as well!!
I really REALLY dont like dogs, but this is MY dog and I lvoe him!!
Today we had our district activity and we went bowling, it was really fun, except that I am really bad at bowling. I got 3 strikes and all the rest were 0... hmmmm extremes haha.
Love you all, hope you are all well!!
Sorry for the thesus of an email, I know that anyone who is serving a misión and gets this probably wont read it haha.

We are drinking the air in Lanus! And Lorena got BAPTISED! and MIRACLES!
This week was a good week! Except my companion had the flu and I had a fever for a day out of sympathy to her haha, but did we stop working? HECK NO! But we didnt do morning exersize...
We decided we have to eat better, we have been eating a lot of sugar, and that probably why we got sick, and we were really tired this week.
This week I was exposed to the most humidty that I have ever experienced, EVER! It was so humid that you could see it, everything was kinda foggy and the air smelled really bad! We were carrying a sheet of paper to the chapel andit like got all damp and soggy. It was such a strange experience!
Funny story: So a few weeks ago I stood on a syringe in the street... I was wearing these foam shoes things that are really popular here and the need went through the shoe and stabbed me in the foot. The whole mission help team and presidency went into totaly freak out mode and sent me into the hospital. It turned out to be a diabetic needle. The mission doctor called all these infectious disease places in the USA and the church headquarters and sent me for HIV tests and everything. (th chance of HIV was very very small.) So I went back to the specialist this week and all is well, thank goodness haha. I havent had very good luck on my misson.....
The doctors that I was seeing are awesome and the mission president and his wife were so supportive, they were with me in the hospital so that I could call my parents. I think everyone else was much more frightened than I was. I was more afraid about the needles the hospital was putting in me than the one I stood on in the street haha.
One REALLY weird thing here is that the doctors greet their patients with kisses. IT IS NOT COOL! My doctor is and Infectologist- INFECTologist- he deals with infected people all day, and he greats them with kisses? That just doesnt seem right to me! Am I right or am I right?
As missionaries we arent allwed to greet with kisses, but he caught me off guard the first time and that was really weird. He´s a cool doctor tough, we gave him a pamphlet on the restauration haha.
This week Lorena gt baptised! She is an incredible woman. She was kidnapped as a child and sold into prostitution and escaped when she was 15. She is a policewoman and can do pretty much anything. she is really crafty and kind. She sewed her own baptism dress and she had never sewed before! It was amazing!
I just love her so much! She was referred to us by her boyfriends family and was completely athiest. She had met with the missionaries a year before and when they asked her t pray to know it was true she recieved the answer that it was true but told the missionaries that she didnt believe in any of it. A year later she was still thinking about it all and her boyfriends family sent us to her. She was a golden investigator! She has a strong testimony and has totally changed her life. She and her boyfriend are soon to be married and in a year they will be sealed in the temple for time and all eternity!
She cried with joy when she came out of the water! It was such a nice day.
Yesterday at church her daughter came, we kinda forced the daughter to come so she could see her mum recieve the holy ghost. She didnt really want to come.
And a MIRACLE happened! The daughter Augustina just totally changed, she came with us to the sunday school classes and loved it and she participated in gospel principals and then in sacrement she watched her mum get the holy ghost and was so happy that durring testimony meeting she stood up in front of the whole congregation and bre a powerful testimony of christ and of the church and she cried saying how happy she was that her mum had found and been baptised into the true church. Then she annouced to everyone that she wanted to be baptised too! People who have been memebers for years are sometimes too nervous to get up and give their testimony and we havent even been teaching her and it was her 2nd time at church and she got up infront of everyone and announced she wanted to be baptised! We were in shock! She had never expressed interest before. It was one of the most incredible moments I have experienced on my mission. We are meeting with her today and are going to invite her to be baptised in 3 weeks!
I love being a missionary and watching the way peoples lives can change in an instant when they find the truth and their purpose here on the earth. I see miracles everyday that I hope I can remember forever and pass down the generations.
I love you all and miss my little country!! NZ is the best!

Photos:
Dont remember.... All are of Lorenas baptism. The older daughter with her is Augustina.
Who sent me a package?
So my mission president called this week to say that I recieved a package and that it was waiting for me in buenos aires airport in customs.
Just a reminder that if you send something and it has to go through customs I wont get it.
We arent allowed to recieve packages because they get stoped in customs and we have to go pick them up and pay a huge fee and it takes about a day.
I was supre gutted that I couldnt get my package :( andthanks to whoever sent it! But it will eventually get sent back to you I guess.
Sad times! But thanks!!

Service and Zone Activities and "Are you Crazy?" "No I am Mormon!"
This week flew by! I feel like I just wrote!
We did a lot of service this week, helping some people to concrete the floor of the house read to tile. First we were taking all the tiles off the old concrete and here they stick it down with tar so we got covered in tar. Then when it came time to put the concrete down we had to mix it buy hand because the power cut just as we began to mix, so that was kinda a downer! But it was loads of fun, although it ruined by shoes! and I think the dust got in my camera and killed it, so im gonna have to get another one. But it was so nice to do some service.
Its strange being in the city, everyone stares at us, the people think we are crazy. Its kinda funny haha Theres a scripture in Mosiah 13:4 that says: because I have spoken the word of God ye have judged me that I am mad. And that has kinda become our slogan here haha, especially because in spanish it is much funnier.
Hermana Callis and I have been having a lot of fun, we have been learning disney songs in Spanish for language study, our apartment is like a disney disco each night, I dunno what the naighbours think about their crazy mormon neighbours. We put a nice big picture of Jesus on the door and they put one on their door too, with some kind of herbs.... Maybe they think we are vampires and they can fend us off with rosemary?
Today we had our Zone activity and it was loads of fun, we played soccer, watched Rio and made empanadas and celebrated Elder Fishers birthday, I have a great zone!
I was really sad to hear of the death of Elder L. Tom Perry, one of the 12 apostles, he served us wel
Hope you are all well! I love you all and think of you all often, thank you for the letters and prayers you send me and for the great memories I have with you all. I love to share photos and memories of my friends and family back home with my companions here.
Stay safe ,
Hermana Wilson
